Make sure you inspect the papers BEFORE you buy them to ensure that there are 3 inserts in it. You can get the newspapers at most gas stations, convenience stores and Walgreens and CVS too!
For my Texan couponers, the Austin ($1/$2.50) and Dallas ($3) will carry the inserts. Killeen will ONLY CARRY THE P&G!
You can get the papers from CEFCO, Mickey's, 7Eleven, & Valero stores. If you buy the Dallas paper, rip the seal open in front of the cashier to ensure that there are inserts in them. If not, they can validate right there and give you another paper.
If you are an early riser, you can grab the Austin papers for $1, instead of $2.50. The street vendors sell them at certain areas of Killeen. Just don't forget to tip them!
PLEASE NOTE: This is the LAST SUNDAY that the vendors will be carrying the Austin papers. They lost the contract so they will no longer be selling them on the streets. If you buy more than two papers, I suggest that you order inserts, which are MUCH cheaper. Please PM me if you are interested in buying inserts....I have a couple of people that I can recommend.
The vendors are located at the following areas: Clear Creek Shoppette (outside of gate), Killeen CVS corner, Corner of Stan Schulueter & Fort Hood St Overpass and corner of Elms & Chantz.
