Baked Cauliflower and Carrots! YUM! Bountiful Baskets Produce Ideas!

I was in the mood for something spicy hot for dinner so I decided to make baked cauliflower in hot sauce! OMG....it was SO GOOD!
I used the cauliflower and the carrots I got from Bountifulbaskets.org this morning. I got the idea from Pinterest HERE.

I chopped up the cauliflower in smaller pieces.

I made the batter: 3/4 cup of flour, 1 cup of milk, 1 tablespoon of garlic powder, 1 1/2 tablespoon of seasoned salt. Mix together.  Dip washed/cleaned cauliflower in and put on baking sheet. Bake at 425 for 15 minutes. While waiting for it to bake, mix up hot sauce recipe. 1/2 cup of hot sauce and 1 tablespoon of melted butter. I added 2 tablespoon of ranch dressing for some flavor and dilute the "heat" alittle.

Take the baked cauliflower out and immediately dip in the hot sauce mixture. Put back in the over for another 5 minutes.

I cut up carrots and make a small bowl of blue cheese dressing. If you have any celery, you can use that too!
You can use whole wheat flour if you like.
If you prefer gluten free, you can replace the regular or whole wheat four with rice or coconut flour!
