Today, I am heading to Target's. I looked in my wallet to see how much I have and I have $7 left. My initial reaction was I should go and harass the ATM for more money but then, I thought, how about I challenge myself to see how much stuff I get can for $7!? So no ATM today. I will post deals that I buy with my $7 later today.
COUPONING/MONEY SAVING TIP: Take cash with you when you shop and stick with the amount that you have on hand as your spending limit. This will help you assess your NEEDS and WANTS. It will allow you to scrutinize every item that you grab and it will make you think....do you need it?
You see the shampoo and conditioner on sale SUPER cheap and you can get ALOT of it for the price and you already have a stockpile at home.
You see your kid's favorite cereal on sale (no stockpile) and you really need to buy some more dry pasta (just a few left at home), which is also on sale. This would cost a hint more than buying 10 bottles of the shampoo and conditioner that you want to get.
Which one do you get?
These types of questions ALWAYS runs through my head and it should be in your mind when you shop.
