IGA Couponing Tip and Deal Scenerios for Double Coupon Days.

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at IGA is double coupon day. The store will double all manufacturer coupons that are $.50 and  under.

This IGA store is located near the Harker Heights side of Killeen, on the corner of Rancier Ave and 38th St in the Eastlake Plaza.

It's in my personal opinion that couponers would benefit from the doubling days with coupons from this store.

An average savings for most couponers is approximately 30% off from the original purchase price at grocery stores.

Frank's Red Hot Sauce: $1.39

You can use the $.35 coupon that is from the 3/16 Smartsource insert, doubled to $.70. $1.39-$.70=$.69 a bottle, 51% Savings!!

OR if you have the February issue of Better Homes & Garden Magazine, there's a coupon for $.50, which will double to $1. $1.39-$1=$.39 per bottle, 72% savings!!!!

French's Worcestershire Sauce: $1.69

Use the $.40 coupon from the 1/19 Smartsource insert, doubled to $.80.

$1.69-$.80=$.89, 48% Savings!!

 

French's Spicy Brown Mustard: $1.69

Use the $.50 coupon from 1/19 Smartsource insert, doubled to $1.

$1.69-$1=$.69, 60% Savings!!

COUPONING TIP: I keep a Ziploc bag (you can use an envelope as well) strictly for IGA. I put any coupons that are $.50 and under in this bag. I will put 1-2 of the same coupon and keep them in the order that I walk through the aisles. So the first aisle I go to is the condiment aisle so I will put all the coupons relating to that aisle first. The last set of coupons will be the frozen foods, which is the last aisle that I will visit. This will speed up your shopping trip and keep you organized.
