Today was cleaning day and I decided to clean the shower. So I make my own cleaning solution using 1/4 cup of baking soda, 1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide and a tablespoon of Dawn dish detergent. I like the solution more on the liquid side to use on the floor, walls and door in the shower but you can make a paste like consistency for smaller areas. (Use less peroxide.)
You can buy hydrogen peroxide and baking soda at Walmart for less. If you have any reward points or Register Rewards from Walgreens or Extra Care Bucks from CVS, you can use these towards these items to save money if you buy them at their store!
At Walgreens this week, the Dawn Dish Detergent is on sale for $.99. There is a $.25 AND a $.50 manufacturer coupon that can be used on this deal. If you are military, you can get an additional 15% off on this as well! Every Friday at all the Killeen and surrounding area locations offer the 15% off BEFORE all coupons! Walgreens carries both the regular Dawn, Hand Renewal and Power Clean Products (only ones that I have seen in the past.)
Deal Scenerio: $.99-15%=$.84-$.25 cpn=$.59 OR $.99-15%=$.84-$.50 cpn=$.34
